Who is DaVinci Skin Care? Susan Forman, L.M.E., C.E. a licensed medical aesthetician is pleased to join with Dr. Anthony Carabasi in his state of the art vein treatment center. Susan has been practicing in King of Prussia and West Chester for over a decade, having opened DaVinci Skin Care in those locations. Bringing on board the expertise of an aesthetic specialist seemed a natural progression to Dr. Carabasi, and one many of his vein clients have been asking for. We are thrilled to have an aesthetician of Susan’s repute and knowledge. Additionally, Dr. Carabasi, a master of the small needle skill set through more than two decades of sclerotherapy, has added the training and skill set necessary to become an expert at the application of Botox and Fillers. It is an awesome combination!
SUSAN B. FORMAN, L. E., C.M.E. is one of the Main Line’s top aestheticians. After two years of formal training in aesthetician school, she trained and practiced four years with a top Main Line Plastic Surgeon and another three years with a prominent gynecologist. She has since consulted on the opening of several medical spas and trained other physicians, nurses, and medical aestheticians in the art of attaining the best outward appearance one can achieve through state of the art technologies. WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?
Absolutely the best non-surgical facelift solution available today! Reduce fine lines and wrinkles, tighten skin to help open up drooping eyes, tighten sagging “turkey neck”, reduce deep lines around the mouth, and tighten skin that is simply sagging due to collagen depletion and age. Botox and Fillers: Botox® Restylane®, Juvederm®.
Those of us who dread the mirror as time marches on, need not! We live in a wonderful era; although our faces start to show signs of age in the form of fine lines and wrinkles, many of these can be reduced and minimized thanks to new and revolutionary techniques available today. Most of these techniques are affordable, require NO surgery, and are virtually painless. At DaVinci Skin Care at the Advanced Vein & Vascular Center we offer several of the most popular wrinkle solutions, Botox®, Restylane®, Juvederm®. Our experienced medical aesthetician and staff will help you decide which treatment is best for you. We offer free consultations to help you determine what will best fit your needs. These procedures are performed in the office and can be performed with or without a topical anesthetic, depending on the patient’s preference.
By now, what was once considered experimental has become very mainstream. Over a million people have been treated with BOTOX® since it was approved by the FDA in 2002. Botox® is most effective on frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. It works by relaxing facial muscles that cause the brow to furrow. Most treatments are about an hour long in our comfortable spa-like medical office, with minimal or no discomfort. Downtime is short - you can often return to work with no recovery time! There are virtually no side effects. Botox typically lasts from four to six months (individual cases vary). It is truly one of the most affordable and effective ways that exists today to smooth out those wrinkles!
Restylane® is a newer option that may be less familiar to you; however, it has been used to treat over 3 million people in over 70 countries. This totally natural substance is called hyaluronic acid, and is a dermal (skin and just below) filler that actually binds with molecules of water within your tissues. This allows it to keep its shape for up to six months, sometimes even longer. What makes Restylane® unique is its complete compatibility with human hyaluronic acid, unlike fat injections or bovine collagen injections. The formula contains no animal products whatsoever, and is NASHA™ certified or "Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid". NASHA™ treatments are virtually pain free, usually take less than an hour and you can return to work with results that appear almost immediately.
The recent FDA approved hyaluronic acid gel filler JUVEDERM™ is very similar in composition to RESTYLANE®. The main difference is the availability of both a thinner and thicker gel. This allows treatment of finer lines such as the vertical mouth lines of the upper lips commonly known as smoker’s lines. The longevity of Juvederm may be somewhat longer than RESTYLANE®.
Perhaps no other single facial feature shows the aging of a man or woman more than the lips and area surrounding. Often we begin to "purse-string" seeing many fine lines form all around the mouth edges while the lips themselves begin to thin and lose color. Much of this can be reversed with appropriate fillers applied, leaving your lips looking fuller and more youthful, while enhancing your full face.
